Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Soldiers discovered a 15-meter-deep underground excavation in Hebron adjacent to the home of a terrorist involved in Friday’s deadly shootout, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Monday.
The IDF said the excavation had no apparent exit, and an electronic device inside is being investigated.
Israel launched a crackdown in the Hebron area after two Palestinians opened fire on soldiers in Mount Hebron. A large quantity of weapons were found in their vehicle.
