The IDF and Shin Bet precisely targeted several areas across the Gaza Strip yesterday (Thursday), destroying four Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad weapons storage facilities from the air.
Dozens of various types of weapons were stored within the facilities, including rockets, explosives, mortars, Kalashnikov rifles, and additional combat equipment.
The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to operate with determination to degrade capabilities in the Gaza Strip and thwart any attempt to rehabilitate them or hold weapons with the aim of harming our forces.
Prior to the attacks, advance warnings were issued to the population to minimize the chance of harm to them, in addition to the use of precision munitions and aerial observation.
IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
