Jerusalem, 28 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated three Hamas military commanders in airstrikes across the Gaza Strip in recent days, the military announced Wednesday.

Anas Akram Muhammad Humaida, a Nukhba Force commander who raided the Sufa military outpost during the October 7, 2023, massacre, was killed near Khan Yunis on Sunday. Ashraf Mahmoud Yusuf Dahlan, a company commander in Hamas’s East Jabalia Battalion who also infiltrated Israel during the massacre, was killed in Gaza City the same day.

On Monday, the IDF killed Mahmoud Othman Abdullah Alwan, a Nukhba commander in the West Jabalia Battalion, in another strike in Gaza City.

The military said the terrorists had launched attacks against Israeli forces and civilians throughout the war, particularly recently, while rebuilding Hamas’s military capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The strikes were intended to eliminate the threats they posed.
