Jerusalem, 28 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli security forces concluded a targeted 72-hour counter-terrorism operation across eight villages and Shechem (Nablus) in the Samaria sector on Wednesday, arresting eight wanted terrorists and demolishing illegal infrastructure.

Executing pre-approved plans, IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and Border Police units searched roughly 300 locations, seizing handguns, hunting rifles, and ammunition. In Beita, combat engineering units demolished the residences of two militants responsible for multiple explosive attacks during 2024–2025 that wounded security personnel.

Meanwhile, elite Duvdevan (Cherry) anti-terror forces and undercover police (Yamas) units in Yasid, located near Shechem, apprehended two operatives engaged in weapons manufacturing, bomb trafficking, and plot planning under Shin Bet guidance.

Security forces also dismantled 12 public monuments inciting terrorism.

Military officials emphasized that offensive operations in Judea and Samaria will continue to neutralize terror cells and dismantle inciting infrastructure.
