Jerusalem, 21 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Ministry of Religious Services and the Chevra Kadisha Forum completed the 13th cohort of the “Moreshet Binyamin” executive training program on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Operated in partnership with Hebrew University’s Magid Institute, the specialized professional program brings together burial society (Chevra Kadisha) CEOs, regional religious council heads, and senior Military Rabbinate casualty officers.
The curriculum integrates advanced administrative management, financial reporting, engineering safety, and Jewish religious law (Halakha) regarding complex burial protocols.
Participants conducted field studies across major mortuary facilities, including Camp Shura and Jerusalem’s underground burial complexes, aimed at streamlining operations, improving emergency preparedness, and enhancing public service standards across Israel’s national burial infrastructure.
