Jerusalem, 28 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A group of 214 Gaza residents and accompanying escorts departed the enclave through the Kerem Shalom Crossing on Monday for transit to third countries via Jordan, according to the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT).
The weekly operation forms part of broader international humanitarian efforts to manage departures and maintain regional stability.
Operating in close coordination with international partners, COGAT has facilitated the evacuation of over 52,000 Gaza residents for medical treatment and other essential purposes since October 2023.
Israeli officials emphasized that coordination with global organizations and neighboring states will continue to support humanitarian transit procedures and address critical medical and civil needs across the Palestinian territory.
