UCLA and Hebrew University of Jerusalem forge deeper ties with agreements to expand academic exchanges and establish a biomedical research collaboration.

Jerusalem, 29 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Univeristy of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) signed two agreements aimed at expanding academic and scientific cooperation.
The agreements establish a framework for academic exchanges and joint activities through UCLA’s Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies. A separate agreement sets the foundation for a future UCLA–Hebrew University Biomedical Research Collaboration, focusing on interdisciplinary research, scientific exchange and researcher training.
