Jerusalem, 16 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli investment group Dvash Group and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem announced a partnership Wednesday to establish an independent venture capital fund targeting $50 million to invest in deep-tech companies and technologies.

The fund, managed by Dvash Group with strategic cooperation from the university and its technology-transfer company Yissum, will initially focus on deep tech, quantum technologies, dual-use technologies and cybersecurity. It will invest in external ventures as well as technologies originating at the university and startups founded by its alumni.

Dvash Group is led by Yoram Dvash, a diamond-industry executive and former president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses. The group also invests in technology and other sectors.
