Jerusalem, 28 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — IDF and Border Police forces completed a 72-hour counterterrorism operation across eight Palestinian villages and the city of Shechem, demolishing two terrorists’ homes, removing 12 monuments inciting terrorism, arresting eight wanted suspects, and seizing weapons.
On Wednesday morning, troops from the Samaria Brigade and the elite Yahalom engineering unit demolished the homes of Zakaria Mohammed Abd Daoud and Ibrahim Abd al-Karim Abd Daoud in Beita. The two terrorists carried out three bomb attacks in 2024 and 2025, injuring security personnel in two incidents.
Meanwhile, Duvdevan elite fighters arrested a suspect in Ya’bad who traded explosives and weapons and supplied a terrorist cell. Border Police officers also arrested a suspect involved in manufacturing explosives and weapons and planning attacks against security forces.
Troops searched approximately 300 locations and seized hunting rifles, a pistol, and ammunition as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt terrorist infrastructure and prevent future attacks.
