Jerusalem, 4 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli police seized three M16 assault rifles, two handguns, ammunition and magazines, including stolen military ammunition, during an operation in the Bedouin town of Rahat in southern Israel, police said Wednesday. Three suspects were arrested during searches conducted following a family dispute and shooting incident.
In a separate incident, police arrested a man filmed opening fire toward members of his own family. Police said several minors subsequently attempted to tamper with the crime scene by collecting spent shell casings and concealing evidence.
