Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli law enforcement agencies are intensifying targeted operations against widespread criminal networks, illegal weaponry, and narcotics trafficking across southern Bedouin communities.
In Tel Sheva, police deployed aerial drones to track and arrest a 15-year-old assault suspect fleeing officers on foot, recovering live ammunition and an improvised firearm at the scene.
The arrest aligns with a broader regional crackdown across Bedouin towns including Rahat, Ar’ara, and Tarabin.
Recent tactical raids in these localities resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of dozens of kilograms of illicit narcotics, illegal firearms, and stolen IDF military munitions.
Authorities emphasized that high-tech surveillance and proactive enforcement will continue to target criminal infrastructure in Negev Bedouin townships.
