Jerusalem, 4 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said Wednesday they killed six members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Army of Islam in airstrikes in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis earlier this week.
Two terrorists were killed Monday, including Mahmoud Jihad Mohammad Qafa, who the IDF identified as the head of a Hamas sniper cell, and Asaad Suleiman Salman Qashta, whom it said facilitated smuggling into Gaza for the Army of Islam.
Four more operatives were killed Sunday, including a Hamas company commander, a Hamas cell leader and a sniper from Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
