Coastal District Police thwarted assassination plots and dismantled a crime ring, demonstrating a strong commitment to public security.

We will continue to operate with full intelligence and operational strength for the sake of strengthening the personal security of the public,” he added. “Agents are a game-changer, and today the opening shot of the current year in the fight against the district’s criminals was heard,” said the Commander of the Coastal District, Superintendent Yechiel Bohdana. “We have succeeded in lowering the bar for serious crime, and in recent weeks we have even foiled cells that were caught ‘red-handed’ on their way to carry out assassinations. These achievements are made possible thanks to a strong district composed of quality commanders and officers,” he added. The Minister of National Security, MK Itamar Ben-Gvir: “I am proud of the fighters of the Central Unit in the Coastal District for a professional, precise, and determined operation that saves lives and strengthens the personal security of the citizens of Israel. We will continue with a policy of zero tolerance for crime and will reach anyone who tries to harm public security.”
