Earlier today (Wednesday), IDF forces responded to the area of the village of Awarta in the Samaria Brigade following a report and documentation received about the setting fire to a grave, with no casualties. The forces searched for suspects, who fled the scene before their arrival. Police officers from the Judea and Samaria District and investigators from the Criminal Identification Unit are preparing to enter the scene, under the security of an IDF force, in order to collect findings and evidence, as well as to take testimonies for the benefit of the investigation that has been opened. The IDF strongly condemns incidents of this type, and the security forces are acting with determination to locate the suspects.
