Jerusalem, 25 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Moti Leitner, chairman of the Haredi Public party, has accused established Haredi political factions of orchestrating intimidation and threats against his supporters ahead of Tuesday’s Knesset election.

Leitner said his supporters had faced dismissal from their jobs, threats to expel their children from educational institutions, and other forms of pressure intended to discourage them from backing his party.

On Friday, Leitner filed a police complaint against Motke Bloy, a senior figure in the Degel HaTorah party, accusing him of incitement and threats. The complaint followed the alleged publication of activists’ names and addresses, accompanied by a description of them as “rebel families.”

Leitner warned that exposing personal details could endanger supporters physically. He called on police to investigate and protect voters’ freedom to choose their preferred party.

The allegations have not been independently verified, and no response from Bloy was included in the reports.
