Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli troops from the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) 769th Regional Brigade, operating under the 91st Division, uncovered an explosive drone storage facility and illegal weaponry inside a civilian home in Al-Khiam, southern Lebanon.
During clearance operations in the security zone, soldiers located Kalashnikov rifles, rockets, body armor, military gear, and ready-to-launch explosive drones.
Notably, troops also discovered a children’s room inside the residence emblazoned with Hezbollah insignia and propaganda symbols.
Defense officials confirmed the dismantling of the site, reiterating that the military will continue targeted strikes to neutralize Hezbollah terrorist threats to northern Israeli civilians while maintaining full commitment to the regional ceasefire agreement.
