Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — One in three Israelis who turned to local welfare departments said the services failed to help resolve their problems, according to a Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) report released on Sunday.
The 2025 Social Survey found that 5.2% of Israeli adults, approximately 326,000 people, used municipal social services during the preceding year. The survey interviewed 6,452 people aged 20 and older, representing approximately 6.3 million Israelis.
