He further emphasized that the IDF is on high alert and will continue to maintain high vigilance and readiness in all sectors. As part of the situation assessment, the Chief of Staff ordered several additional steps to increase readiness: 1. Implementing a departure freeze in IDF units starting this coming Thursday and in accordance with the ongoing situation assessment. 2. Augmenting the presence of senior commanders in situation rooms, headquarters, and units to ensure operational readiness and fitness. 3. Reinforcing the Central Command with forces from the Paratroopers Brigade headquarters and additional forces that will be allocated to it to strengthen the deployment in the area and increase presence on the ground. The brigade will serve as a task force brigade headquarters in the area between Samaria and Benjamin. 4. Allocating additional forces to the remaining sectors according to operational needs – by air, sea, and land.
