Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s State Attorney’s Cyber Department has indicted Raz Weinberger, 49, of kibbutz Ein HaHoresh in the Sharon region, on 28 counts of incitement: 10 for incitement to terrorism and 18 for incitement to violence.
The indictment, filed in Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court, accuses Weinberger of publishing 21 inflammatory posts on his public X account over approximately six weeks ahead of Israel’s 26th Knesset election.
The posts allegedly called for the murder or execution of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, government ministers, coalition lawmakers, and civilians expressing right-wing views.
In one post, he reportedly called Netanyahu “the greatest traitor in the country’s history” and declared that he deserved death. In another, responding to Likud MK Almog Cohen, he allegedly called for beheading him.
Prosecutors are seeking to hold Weinberger in custody until the conclusion of proceedings, citing the systematic nature of the publications, their severity, and his recent possession of a firearm.
