Jerusalem, 1 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced an expansion of humanitarian aid coordination into the Gaza Strip ahead of winter.
Working alongside international partners and the Board of Peace, COGAT facilitated the entry of more than 10,000 tents and over 360 trucks loaded with winterization equipment during the past week.
Officials also approved more than 70 logistics requests representing thousands of aid vehicles, while facilitating critical maintenance for municipal water and sewage networks across the territory.
COGAT emphasized that it remains committed to collaborating with the United Nations, donor nations, and international relief agencies to stabilize humanitarian conditions and deliver essential seasonal supplies throughout the approaching winter months.
