TPS: Health Ministry Recalls Moroccan Carrot Salad Suspected of Salmonella

Jerusalem, 16 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Falafel BeRibua Food Industries Ltd. is recalling its Moroccan carrot salad under the Class Food brand after Health Ministry testing in the Central District detected Salmonella bacteria in the product.
The affected batch, marketed by A. Class Food Ltd. in 250-gram packages under barcode 7290100890639, has a production date of September 7, 2026, and expires October 12, 2026. Consumers who purchased the product are urged not to eat it.
The company, working with the Health Ministry’s food safety, is removing the item from store shelves and has apologized for the inconvenience to consumers.
Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain in healthy individuals, with rare serious complications. Young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems face a higher risk of severe illness or death.
