TPS: Israeli Military Kills Three Hamas, Islamic Jihad Terrorists in Gaza Strikes
The Israeli military eliminated three terrorists in Gaza, including a Hamas commander and an Islamic Jihad rocket controller, this week.
Jerusalem, 16 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Military said it killed three terrorists in strikes across northern Gaza this week, saying they of planning shooting and explosive attacks against Israeli forces in violation of the ongoing ceasefire.
According to the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), Wednesday’s strike in Daraj Tuffah in Gaza City killed Said As’ad Said Akram, identified as a Hamas battalion commander. Two strikes on Tuesday killed Namer Yasser Namer Arshi, described as a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket controller, and Ahmad Bezhat Saleh Sha’er, a Hamas terrorist involved in planting explosives.
The military said forces remain deployed in Gaza under the terms of the ceasefire and will continue operations against what it describes as ongoing threats to its troops.
