Jerusalem, 16 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Tourism has renewed a scholarship program for students pursuing master’s degrees in Tourism at recognized institutions, offering awards ranging from 5,000 to 14,615 shekels (roughly $1,350 to $3,900) depending on the final number of eligible applicants.

The scholarships are available to students beginning their first year of study in October 2026 or February 2027 who are not receiving other state funding.

Officials said the program aims to strengthen research and professional development in Israel’s tourism sector, deepen ties between academia and industry, and cultivate future researchers and managers as the country works to rebuild its tourism industry.
