Israel Police: Real-time intelligence led to the arrest of suspects in extortion. Last month, three suspects arrived at a citizen's home in the north and demanded protection money, threatening him with a pistol.

Upon their arrival at his home, the citizen called the 100 emergency number in real-time, and shortly thereafter, many forces from the Northern District were dispatched to the scene. They launched an investigation and searches to locate the suspects who had fled the scene. Following a manhunt, the suspects were apprehended and arrested. The investigation material reveals that in order to instill fear, the suspects used the name of a criminal gang while demanding a protection payment of 300,000 NIS. At the end of the investigation, an indictment was filed against the three (Umm al-Fahm, Na’ura).
