Tel Avivs Arbe Expands Into Defense With Counter-Drone Radar
Tel Aviv-based Arbe Robotics enters defense with its Alerion C-UAS Radar, designed to detect and track elusive drones by their physical signature.
Jerusalem, 14 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli radar developer Arbe Robotics announced Monday its entry into the defense and homeland security market with a new radar designed to detect and track hard-to-detect drones.
Tel Aviv-headquartered Arbe said its Alerion C-UAS Radar has been field-tested for defense applications and is being evaluated by counter-drone systems integrators worldwide. The compact, low-power system is designed to detect small drones, including first-person-view, autonomous and fiber-optic-controlled aircraft that can evade conventional sensors.
Arbe said the radar detects the drones themselves rather than relying on radio signals, allowing it to track aircraft even when no signal is available for interception. The company said Alerion can be deployed in fixed, vehicle-mounted and portable systems.
