Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli defense company Elbit Systems has secured contracts worth approximately $200 million from an unnamed Asia-Pacific country to supply airborne intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) systems and pilot training solutions. Announced on Monday, the contracts will be carried out over up to five years.
Elbit will provide its SPECTRO 12 multispectral surveillance and targeting system for installation on helicopters. The advanced system combines high-resolution sensors, laser targeting and artificial intelligence-powered image processing to detect, identify and track targets in challenging conditions.
The agreements also include support and upgrades for airborne training systems used in simulated air-to-air and air-to-ground combat exercises. Additionally, Elbit will supply advanced head-up displays designed to improve pilots’ situational awareness during day and night operations.
