Jerusalem, 9 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A 21-year-old man was seriously injured and two other young men, about 18, were moderately injured overnight when their car slammed into a safety barrier on the Ayalon Highway (Route 20) near the Mevo Ayalon interchange.
Magen David Adom crews said they were led to three casualties, one of whom was lying outside the vehicle with multi-system trauma. Paramedics stopped his bleeding, gave him medication, and evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, where his condition was described as serious but stable.
The two moderately injured passengers, who also had multi-system trauma, were taken to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.
MDA medics called it “a severe accident.” The cause of the crash has not been reported.
