Jerusalem, 14 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Gaby Lasky, sixth on Yair Golan’s Democrats slate, said Monday she had not watched “NZA” (Collateral Damage), an Israeli film depicting the IDF’s alleged plan to commit genocide in Gaza; however, she insisted “the violent discourse against the creators must stop.”
Moshe Radman, ninth on the slate, took a more cautious stance, saying he had not seen the film and could not judge whether it was “truly fair and faithful to the source.” Still, he said, “it is good to have dialogue” and “it is good to have criticism.”
Former Meretz MK Mossi Raz congratulated filmmakers Yuval Avraham and Rachel Shor, saying their “right, and perhaps even their duty, to create” must be defended.
Early in the campaign, Yair Golan said that if his party comes to power, the right-wing Channel 14 would be forced to follow standard journalistic rules or be shut down.
