Jerusalem, 29 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s National Passenger Targeting Center (NTPC) has issued strict new security protocols requiring commercial airlines to submit flight crew manifests 48 hours prior to departure for Israeli territory.
The mandate aims to enhance civil aviation security by providing intelligence agencies with extended lead time compared to standard global benchmarks.
Under the updated framework, carriers must submit initial crew data at the 48-hour mark, transmit any schedule or personnel updates during check-in windows no later than two hours before takeoff, and submit a finalized manifest upon actual departure.
Security officials confirmed the regulations apply to all international airlines operating inbound passenger and cargo flights to strengthen border verification and vetting procedures.
