Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Hundreds of volunteers from Samaria are expected to descend on Lod outside Ben Gurion International Airport on Tuesday to boost voter turnout for Israel’s national camp in the 26th Knesset election.

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan and Lod Mayor Yair Revivo held a planning meeting with election campaign activists to coordinate the operation, organized through the V26 initiative. Volunteers will go door to door to encourage residents to vote.

The city will be divided into eight to 10 zones, each with a designated team leader and a permanent group of volunteers. A central command post and a coordinated vehicle network will help transport residents who need rides to polling stations and provide logistical support throughout Election Day.

Revivo praised the longstanding partnership with Dagan and welcomed Samaria’s mobilization. Dagan called for unity and urged activists to maximize turnout nationwide.
