Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported a 15.1% increase in industrial production across manufacturing, mining, and quarrying sectors between June and August 2026.

The growth was overwhelmingly fueled by high-tech industries, which recorded a 23.8% surge in industrial output over the three-month period.

Non-high-tech sectors posted a modest 1.9% increase. Total export revenues at constant prices jumped 38.0%, while domestic market revenue rose 4.4%.

The industrial expansion generated mild employment gains, with salaried job positions and overall working hours both edging up by 0.8%.

The robust figures highlight the continued dominance of advanced technology manufacturing in anchoring Israel’s broader economic growth and export performance.
