Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Ministry sharply condemned a report by the United Nations Commission of Inquiry, characterizing the investigation into its human rights record as a “propaganda document detached from reality.”
Rebuffing the findings issued under the UN Human Rights Council, officials stated the publication is “aimed at undermining Israel’s right to self-defense, delegitimizing the Jewish state, and legitimizing jihadist terrorism against its citizens.”
The ministry further asserted that the commission, established in 2021, has targeted Israel exclusively since its inception while wasting vast international resources.
“The fact that the so-called ‘report’ parrots the narrative of terrorist organizations word for word is clear proof of its true nature and motives,” the ministry added in an official statement.
