Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported a 2.5% increase in total services exports (excluding start-ups) for August 2026, reaching approximately $8.5 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis.

The growth follows a 5.4% decline recorded in July.

High-tech industry services exports, which exclude start-ups, saw a modest uptick of 0.4% in August after dropping 5.7% the previous month.

The rebound reflects partial stabilization in Israel’s vital technology and professional services sectors despite persistent macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds.

Overall services export volume remains a crucial economic indicator for the country, driving major revenue streams alongside traditional goods and commodity trade across foreign markets.
