Jerusalem, 25 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy announced Sunday, October 25, 2026, that nationwide security forces are fully prepared to safeguard the democratic process for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections.
“Anyone who attempts to compromise the purity of the elections will face a strong, determined, state-minded, and uncompromising police force,” Levy stated.
Law enforcement completed comprehensive operational deployments alongside the Shin Bet security agency to counter potential terrorist threats, manage public order, and protect polling locations.
Addressing the electorate, Levy declared, “We will not allow violence, threats, incitement, or criminality to impair the will of the voter,” reassuring citizens that police will maintain an impartial presence across all sectors to guarantee safe and unhindered voting.
