Jerusalem, 25 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Elections Committee and Central Bureau of Statistics released voter data for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections, to be held on Tuesday, listing approximately 7.3 million eligible voters.

Official figures show roughly 6.5 million registered voters permanently reside in Israel, representing a 5.4% increase—or 333,000 citizens—since the previous general election in November 2022.

An estimated 810,000 eligible voters currently reside abroad. Among domestic voters, 77% identified as Jewish, including 13.6% who are Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi), accounting for 10.5% of the total electorate. Arab citizens comprise 18% of domestic voters, with other demographics making up 5%.

Statistical authorities noted total voter rolls include citizens who passed away overseas without official registration updates.
