Jerusalem, 2 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted targeted airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, eliminating two senior operatives from Hamas’s elite Nukhba force.
Military officials confirmed that an air raid in Khan Younis killed Muhammad Kamel Muslih Qdeih, who participated in the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz and managed operational readiness for Nukhba units.
A separate strike in Nuseirat eliminated Diya Abdel-Mohsen Muhammad Abu Al-Roos, another key operative in Hamas’s military wing. The IDF stated both operatives were actively planning attacks against Israeli forces and civilian populations while attempting to rebuild Hamas operational capabilities in violation of existing ceasefire arrangements.
Israeli forces remain deployed across the sector to neutralize immediate security threats.
