Jerusalem, 26 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — More than 1,200 British Jews attended a major Aliyah fair in London on Sunday, signaling sustained interest in Israeli immigration amid rising British Aliyah trends.
Organized by Ofek Israeli alongside Israel’s Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Jewish Agency, the fair provided resources for citizens considering relocation.
Concurrently, the second MedEx UK conference brought together roughly 130 Jewish doctors and healthcare professionals with Israeli health officials, hospital administrators, and HMO representatives. The specialized initiative, designed to address shortages in Israel’s medical system, saw about 20 physicians initiate local licensing procedures on-site. Official figures show 872 UK citizens made Aliyah between January and September 2026, continuing momentum from previous years.
According to data from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Jewish Agency, over 2,500 immigrants from the UK have arrived in Israel since October 7, and Aliyah application files have been opened for approximately 5,000 individuals.
