Jerusalem, 29 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced that price-regulated 95-octane unleaded gasoline will drop by 0.42 shekels to 7.35 shekels ($1.97) per liter at self-service pumps starting midnight, November 1, 2026. The full-service surcharge remains unchanged at 0.26 shekels per liter.
However, authorities warned that this price relief may be short-lived.
Unless the government extends the current temporary excise tax reduction order before it expires on the night of November 4, maximum fuel prices will automatically surge one shekel to 8.35 shekels ($2.68) per liter starting November 5.
