Jerusalem, 29 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Cadets at the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) C4I School (Bahad 7 – responsible for maintaining the competency of the various ICT units throughout the army) successfully developed two functional technological solutions—dubbed “Rose” and “Galileo”—for immediate deployment by the military and security services during an intensive five-day final exercise at the C4I Campus in southern Israel.

Moving beyond standard theoretical drills, the officer cadets collaborated with roughly 160 soldiers to build real-world intelligence and media monitoring tools.

“Rose” processes open-source threat data into real-time security alerts regarding potential attacks against Israeli targets worldwide, while ‘Galileo’ tracks and analyzes international media publications.

Throughout the sprint, the cadets simultaneously defended their nascent platforms against aggressive cyberattacks, hardware bugs, and network intrusions launched by simulated “Red Team” adversaries. The exercise provided practical leadership experience across software development, cyber defense, and threat emulation before the new officers deploy to their respective operational postings.
