TPS: Over 24,000 Tons of Medical Equipment Entered Gaza Since Ceasefire
COGAT reports over 24,000 tons of medical equipment entered Gaza since the ceasefire, with distribution monitored to prevent Hamas control.
Jerusalem, 15 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s military liaison agency for Gaza, COGAT, reported that more than 24,000 tons of medical equipment have entered the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire began, including X-ray machines, oxygen concentrators, generators, and incubators, delivered at the request of international organizations.
According to COGAT, the aid is distributed under a monitoring mechanism intended to prevent Hamas from controlling its distribution. Additional efforts include establishing new medical facilities and coordinating medical evacuations from Gaza.
The agency said it continues to facilitate the entry of medical equipment as requests come in from international humanitarian organizations, amid ongoing scrutiny over aid access and humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
