The Police Commissioner, Commissioner-General Dani Levy, leads the Israel Police with determination and responsibility, while dealing with complex security and operational challenges, including violent disturbances, road blockades, and harm to police officers and civilians who were injured by rioters and required medical treatment. The Police operates and will continue to operate to enforce the law equally, impartially, and without distinction between sectors. It is preferable that those who wish to criticize the Police’s performance do so openly, and not hide behind anonymous briefings and attempts to weaken the organization and its head. The Police Commissioner will continue to lead the organization in accordance with the law and his professional discretion, without fear and without succumbing to external pressures.
