Jerusalem, 4 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Jerusalem District Police have arrested a long-sought fugitive suspected of involvement in a 2023 homicide in an eastern Jerusalem neighborhood following an extended manhunt.
Officers from the Kedem Division’s Crime Fighting Unit apprehended the suspect during an operation in central Israel.
He was captured alongside a second individual, who is currently undergoing interrogation by the Jerusalem Central Unit regarding a separate assault case. Following his arrest, the homicide suspect was transferred to specialized unit headquarters for formal questioning.
Law enforcement authorities confirmed they will appear before the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court to request a secondary extension of his remand as investigators prepare formal charges.
