Jerusalem, 5 November, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Central Unit of the Tel Aviv District Police has dismantled a major criminal enterprise, arresting four suspects, including three family members, for allegedly operating illegal gambling dens across the central region.

Investigators state the syndicate generated millions of shekels through illicit gambling operations, extortion, violent threats, and money laundering.

Officers apprehended two suspects who attempted to flee during tactical raids, discovering that one detainee possessed a disability card allegedly acquired through fraudulent means to evade law enforcement.

Searches of the main suspects’ residences yielded approximately NIS 500,000 ($138,000) in cash, alongside high-end jewelry and luxury vehicles.

Police confirmed all seized assets are suspected to have been financed directly by criminal proceeds.
