Jerusalem, 24 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli authorities have deported 11 foreign activists detained in the southern Hebron Hills after entering a closed military zone to participate in an uncoordinated olive harvest, Israeli media reported.
Police said the group refused soldiers’ instructions to identify themselves and leave the area. Officers detained the 11 foreigners and one Palestinian on suspicion of violating a closed military zone order and obstructing soldiers in the line of duty.
According to police, an examination of the foreigners’ social media accounts found that two had praised terrorists and terrorist attacks, participated in anti-Israel boycott organizations, or raised funds for such activities.
Immigration authorities transferred the 11 foreign nationals for deportation proceedings.
