Indictment: TikTok Predator Terrorized Girls, Urged One to Commit Suicide

Rafael Reef Hai of Kfar Saba has been indicted on nine counts for allegedly terrorizing teenage girls on TikTok and WhatsApp, including urging suicide.

Jerusalem, 9 September, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Prosecutors on Wednesday filed a nine-count indictment against Rafael Reef Hai of Kfar Saba, accusing him of terrorizing teenage girls on TikTok and WhatsApp.

According to the indictment, Reef allegedly sent repeated threats from different phone numbers. In one case, involving a girl born in 2009, he allegedly urged her to jump from a roof, writing, “Go kill yourself.”

He allegedly threatened one girl’s father, claiming he had driven girls to attempt suicide. He is also accused of creating a fake TikTok account using a young woman’s photo and ID number.

After a different minor filed a police complaint, he allegedly retaliated with a fake account featuring her photos and humiliating content.

He faces charges including threats, harassment, privacy violations, and computer offenses. Prosecutors are considering seeking prison time if convicted. Actual imprisonment for online general sexual harassment and sex crime complaints in Israel is low.
