Jerusalem, 25 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Cypriot police on Sunday declared a security alert near The Great Synagogue of Cyprus in Larnaca a false alarm after an unattended suitcase found about 100 meters from the building was found to contain only clothes. Officers cordoned off the area and dispatched bomb disposal specialists to inspect the suitcase.
