Jerusalem, 29 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Nearly 200 leaders from local municipalities, government ministries, civil society, and philanthropy gathered in Nazareth for the Mawared Summit to celebrate six years of economic development and plan the upcoming five-year framework for Arab society.
Data presented at the conference demonstrated significant financial growth through the initiative, with government budget requests expanding 5.8-fold, approved budgets quadrupling, and executed funds increasing by 3.75 times.
The progress aligns with Government Resolution 550, which currently oversees more than 6,600 active development projects across education, infrastructure, employment, and cultural sectors.
Stakeholders framed the summit as a pivotal launchpad to build upon these field achievements and secure sustained socio-economic advancement for Arab municipalities nationwide.
