Jerusalem, 15 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Labor and Innovation Authority have launched 15 new programs backed by a joint public-private investment of 25 million Shekels ($6.7 million) to bridge gender gaps in the high-tech industry.
The initiative addresses major career barriers by targeting five focus areas: elevating women to CEO and VP roles, integrating female talent into deep-tech, re-engaging professionals after career breaks, supporting post-maternity advancement, and driving corporate policy equality.
Official data highlights persistent industry disparities, with men earning an average of 33,000 Shekels ($10,641) monthly—44% higher than women at 23,000 Shekels ($7,417). The venture aims to unlock unrealized economic potential by promoting equal representation across executive management and core R&D sectors.
