Jerusalem, 30 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv police on Thursday night arrested four suspects allegedly involved in arson attacks, violent extortion and aggravated assault stemming from a criminal feud.

Several buildings were set ablaze in recent weeks, allegedly targeting a 41-year-old Tel Aviv resident. On October 12, undercover investigators arrested two suspects, aged 43 and in their 20s, from Hadera and Rehovot, respectively, on suspicion of carrying out the arson attacks.

Investigators subsequently identified a 24-year-old Ashdod resident suspected of directing the operations and recruiting the perpetrators. A fourth suspect, a Tel Aviv resident in his 30s, was arrested Thursday.

Police believe the suspects contacted numerous men through Telegram, luring them to apartments for intimate encounters with a minor. Once there, the victims were allegedly violently assaulted and threatened with demands for hundreds of thousands of shekels.

The investigation is ongoing.
