Jerusalem, 30 October, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Better Choice announced a voluntary recall Friday of four Russian-made dark chocolate products after a consumer complaint led to the discovery of milk, an allergen not declared on the ingredients or allergen labels.
The affected products are COTE D’IVOIRE 60%, GHANA 67%, COLOMBIA 80%, and DOMINICANA 77%, all sold in 100-gram packages with various expiration dates in 2027.
Consumers with milk allergies are warned not to consume the products because of the potential health risk.
The recall follows the discovery that the chocolate contains milk despite no indication of its presence on the packaging. The company is collecting the affected products from the market as a precautionary measure.
